今のところ、北イタリアはコロナウイルスで苦しんでいます。やはり北イタリアのアンズには、聖ヴィクトルと聖コロナの聖遺物が安置されている大聖堂があります。
聖女コロナは、西暦165年頃、ローマ皇帝マルクス・アウレリウスの統治下で、殉教しました。当時15歳でした。
聖コロナは、特にオーストリアとドイツのババリア地方で、疫病から守る守護聖人として崇敬されています。
祝日は5月14日です。

When the palms were let loose she was torn apart. According to the Roman Martyrology, this happened in Syria.
Saint Corona is especially venerated in Austria and Bavaria as the Patron Saint against epidemics.Her feast day is May 14.
